Although the town of Woodside does not have a lot of flat roofs, Dura-Foam Solar Center has solved roofing issues of varying complexities for homes and commercial buildings in the town of Woodside. Roof systems replaced have included tar & gravel, cap sheet, built-up roofing (BUR), single ply, and torch-down roofing systems. Our high insulation value foam roof systems continue to outlast these competing products while also saving energy. Spray polyurethane foam is applied as a thick (+/- 1.5″) and seamless waterproofing barrier. Spray foam is applied as a two component material which bonds to the roof surface forming a joint-free monolithic waterproofing barrier. When re-coated once every 20 years, this roof system lasts the life of the property. Because this roofing system last so long, it is the perfect flat roof product to install under solar panels. Solar energy systems and foam roofing go hand-in hand. They are two long-term solutions that improve building efficiency and save money for the property owner.
