Los Altos is known for its plethora of trees and charming neighborhoods of single story homes and businesses. Most roof surfaces in Los Altos have enough exposure to sunlight to provide 100% of the home or businesses electrical load. Projects marked above with green balloon were performed by Dura-Foam Solar Center since 1981. All of these projects consisted of flat and low slope roofs that received a Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roof system. These roofs continue to protect their underlying properties from water and moisture intrusion as well as adverse temperature conditions. Foam roofing is the only waterproofing material that both insulates and waterproofs at the same time!

Dura-Foam Solar Center installs photo voltaic grid-tied solar systems which can produce an abundance of free energy for your home, especially during sunny weather. With new electric cars emerging on the market, many customers are using energy generated by our solar systems to charge their electric cars. Their electric meters run backwards during the day while the solar system generates electricity from sunlight. During the night, while the electric car charges, the meter runs forward. Our systems are sized to generate electricity demands for homes, businesses, and electric vehicles.
