About Bay Area Dura-Foam Roofing Installations
Our main office is centrally located on the Peninsula; not surprisingly, the highest density of completed foam roofing projects lies in the surrounding Silicon Valley region. Our foam roof insulation systems are popular for a variety of building types in the Bay Area. Flat and low slope roof designs such as Eichler and Streng are common throughout the region. These roof designs are ideal candidates for foam roofs and many jobs were completed throughout the area on such roof types.
Dura-Foam Roofing Projects in the San Francisco Bay Area
Green balloons indicate Dura-Foam roof installations since 1981. The map below displays projects for the entire San Francisco Bay Area. The markers represent over 20,000 completed projects. View sub-pages above or choose a specific city for detailed close-up views.

Foam Roofing is Ideal on Flat Roofs
Tilt-up warehouses and other flat roof commercial buildings also represent a substantial cross section of the foam roofing jobs indicated. Some of the completed commercial building projects have barrel shaped roofs. On both residential and commercial buildings, flat roof structures are often surrounded by parapet walls. Parapet walls are useful for hiding equipment, skylights, and roof-level patios.
Most Foam Roofing Insallations Projects are Re-Roofing
Although we are completing a growing number of new construction installations, the majority of our projects involve the replacement of existing roof systems. Common replacement roof substrates include tar and gravel, built-up roofing (BUR), cap sheet, modified bitumen, EPDM, single ply, metal, torch-down, and more. These are all flat roof systems that usually have slopes ranging from perfectly flat to a 3/12 pitch.
Some Benefits of Foam Roofing
Spray foam roof (SPF) insulation systems provide notable advantages over most other roof substrates. Many homes lose 80% or more of their heating or cooling through poorly insulated roofs. Dura-Foam roof systems provide over 6.25 R-value per inch of polyurethane foam. This results in excellent energy conservation during both the summer and winter, resulting in substantially lower heating and cooling costs. In addition, all of our roofs are topped with reflective cool roof coatings which has significantly reduced the Urban Heat Island effect in the Bay Area.
